Best way to create a universal notification pop-up
I am a beginner/amateur. I am trying to create a notification pop-up that can be used across multiple scenes, and triggered from different scripts, including scripts in prefabs. What would be the best way to go about doing this? I know I should avoid findobjectoftype, so I'm trying to avoid that. I've tried to put a notification panel prefab into the GameManager to just instantiate it and destroy it as needed, but I can't figure out how to instantiate it into the Canvas in the right place in the hierarchy and without using findobjectoftype.
