Do you have a Directional Light in your scene (Unity adds it by default)? If so turn it off/deactivate it or delete it from the scene.
Or do you have other lights in the scene that makes it so bright that you can not see your flash light?
@$$anonymous$$avina when i first made my entire scene a while ago, i deleted the directional light, and nope, i have all of my lights other than the flashlight (spotlight), set to complete black to have the purpose of a horror game

It sounds like either you do not have a ground texture or rotation/z of the light is messed up.
Note: to see the light it needs to reflect off of a texture so making the camera background color solid black will not do it
@$$anonymous$$avina i have a ground texture, but i've created 3d cubes (formed them) into a makeshift house, the ground texture is fully at the bottom and im on a 3d cube surface, and it's not the camera background color that i've changed, it's the actual cubes themselves
