Beginner Question: Object Animation vs Character Animation in Blender
My walk, run, idle, etc character animations have been made in Blender, but I'm not sure about opening doors, opening drawers, that kind of thing.
Let's say I have modeled a house in Blender. Inside the house are doors and drawers and wheels that need to move when the player interacts with them.
Should I:
A) Animate the moving parts inside Blender, join them with the house inside Blender, and import the entire thing into Unity as one mesh (is this even an option?)
B) Animate the moving parts inside Blender, import them individually to Unity, import the house mesh into Unity separately, and place the doors, drawers, etc where they need to go inside the Unity environment
or
C) Import the house mesh into Unity, import the moving parts individually, and animate opening/sliding/turning motions inside Unity.
Thank you in advance!
