Colors not rendering correctly, black and white are rendering as the same color???
I am using a custom shader which uses a separate texture to swap colors in UI images from predefined colors to colors to be determined at runtime. The idea is to be able to change those blocks of color to any other color I want, and it works, but for a while now, even before I started using the new shader (in fact this is why I switched to the new method) colors have not been rendering correctly in unity both in the inspector and in the game/editor views. However, I do think it is a problem with the shader itself, but I am new to shaders, so I copied the shader from a tutorial (link at the bottom), I have looked through it a lot and I cannot figure out what is causing the color issues. This is particularly confusing because I had the same problem (in addition to a whole bunch of other problems with a different color swap shader. https://gamedevelopment.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-use-a-shader-to-dynamically-swap-a-sprites-colors--cms-25129
