Joint with max force
I was wondering if there was any way to make a soft joint. I'm currently using the configurable joint, but the only limit I see for approaching the target are the max force and torque, but that just breaks the joint. The other limit fields just don't do anything at all.
Basically the behavior I'd want is: if it's a small movement that wouldn't need much force to correct it would behave like a normal joint. However, if the force needed exceeds the threshold, it will only apply the max force, meaning it may sometimes glide and accelerate to the end point.
Is this possible with the built-in joints or should I roll my own?
