How do I ensure a randomized grid connects all tiles?
As a bit of a beginner project, I want to recreate the GamePigeon Mini Golf game (here is a picture if you haven't played it). I want to base the levels off of a randomly generated grid, but I'm not sure how to make the tiles connect from start to finish. What I mean is that I don't want any tiles that are "islands", in that they are completely cut off from the main playing field. I was thinking of maybe running a maze-generation script (I've found some tutorials for that), but I would like the possibility of having more than one route to the finish. Any good tutorials or clever solutions out there?
