Is it possible to make gameobject size around irregularly shaped .pngs?
I'm building a simulation game similar to Plague Inc. I want to draw dots on the screen at the location of a country (each country is a gameobject made from a png image). I have this working with an additional random input that doesn't exceed the bounds sizing of the game object.
The problem is that the .png images of countries are irregular shapes and when I make them gameobjects the bounds sizing is rectangular, meaning when the dots are drawn to the screen some of them land in the water.
I want to make the sizing of the gameobject irregular instead of rectangular. Is this possible? If not are there any other methods of using the size of the .png image instead of the gameobject?
