,Assertion Failed error at launch. Assertion failed at expression "Succeeded.hr"

I just installed Unity for the first time in my life ;) When it launches a blank window appears with all the FILE EDIT WINDOW Etc. and at the bottom it says ASSERTION FAILED: ASSERTION FAILED AT EXPRESSION "Succeeded.hr". I reinstalled it and it didint help. Is there any hope it will work? I have a gaming laptop so it should run smoothly. Im totally new to all this so forgive me for any mistakes.
