It does not. As far as I can tell, it tracks touches on the touch pad but a cursor would need to be implemented in game.
Hi thanks fopr replaying. What a mean is, if it is like a wiiremote? With a wiimote we can point the remote to a TV and know where we are on the screen. Are you saying that that feature does not exist in Apples TV remote?
That's exactly what I'm saying. There is no pointer functionality. If you were to want a cursor or on screen indicator of some sort it would need to be added programmatically. Any AppleTV apps need to support the remote control functionality (i.e., you can't make it so that it only works with a connected iPhone or iPad).
So, yes, it is exactly like having a Wii remote without the pointer option.
