Procedural placement of multiple tree types using tree instances
I'm working on procedural generation of large terrains. I have completed most of the terrain features, but I'm having difficulty creating multiple tree instances. The script I currently have can copy and mass place a single tree, but I can't figure out how to add multiple trees. I'm currently using tree instances to create and copy the trees. For example, I will place a singular tree in terrain, then generate it, and the script will copy the trees and mass place them along the terrain. I cannot figure out how to mass place multiple trees (its worth noting its not because I didn't place other trees before generating the new terrain.)
I'm using a heavily modified version of Thalatta, but the tree placement has not been modified a lot. Here is a link to the GitHub repository for the original script. https://github.com/JustGamingLTD/Thalatta
If I could find the actual script for unity's Place Tree Wizard, I may be able to figure it out, but I could not find it.
Its very possible that this is a really stupid question to ask, as I am very new to Unity. Thank you in advance for any help provided.
