Is there a way to use a phone as a controller?
So i've been following this tutorial on YouTube in which a woman explains how to use a phone as a controller. The phone displays the controls, and the main screen just shows a car driving around.

I'm not interested in the controller, the joystick or anything, i'm only interested in creating the network between the two devices and having the mobile control what is on screen, the method of control is not important (a simple button press to initiate forward motion and another to stop is fine for now).
It would seem that this task was easy in the 2017 version of Unity, however the new version does not have the same features and has made what i would have assumed was a fairly simple task, very difficult.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help solve this problem! This is for my final year university project so i hope there is a relatively simple solution to this!
