Problems changing materials
I have an FBX model with 4 material slots. I have unpacked the prefab to allow editing of the materials, which is fine. But I want to duplicate the model and add different materials to each copy. This is where I am having a problem. Both duplicates always reference the original materials and I cannot seem to break that link AND keep the 4 material slots. If I drag a new material onto the duplicate model, it removes the 4 material slots and adds the material everywhere. Is there a solution? I have tried the different material import settings for the model but with the same results.
Unity 2019.1.f1 Light Weight Render Pipeline.
