Rendering with the CPU in Unity

Hey, I'm hoping to prototype an Occlusion Culling system in Unity that somewhat follows this GPU Gem, but uses CPU rasterization to do some of the legwork. Does Unity provide a way for me to switch my rendering device programmatically so some of the rendering happens on the CPU instead of the GPU?

I have a related question if anyone wants to help me with both.
