how to learn unity scripting from refrence manual
Hi
I am intrested in learning unity programming. I am having a hard time learning from the scripting refrence. I have some background in programming and am able to understand written code but unable to write it myself. I am not a pro programmer and would like to become one so my question is How should I learn unity scripting from the scripting manual effectively and fast to become a pro and also is there a pdf version of the scritping refrence?

The script reference is full of examples, but the best way IMHO is to get some of the tutorials off the Resources page and/or Asset Store and just read through all them. Start with small ones and ones that are closest to the type of game you want to make.
Search WalkerBoyStudio in google and go to there free unity tutorials, they start of really basic, but go through a lot..... be prepared to spend a lot of time on it!
