Copyright ?
If i made a game which is similiar to the "pong" game but with some different game mechanics. Would i get a copyright strike?

Nope.
However, you may want to avoid putting "pong" in the title.
You may have problems if game is too similar to tetris. Person who made it is doing everything to remove any copies from stores. But that's one example (propably only) :)

That is a question you should ask a lawyer specialized in copyright and not in a Unity developer forum.
Huh? Why two downvotes? He's actually right. It makes no sense to ask legal questions here. Legal advices on UnityAnswer can't be trusted. $$anonymous$$agnavox had patents issued and filed lawsuits in the past against Atari and others.
If there are any relevant patents they most likely have already expired, but unless you're a lawyer and have actually researched that particular topic you can never know for sure ^^.
