Can you play a cutscene when entering an area?

A friend of mine and I are making a short game with a lot of different endings. But we wondered whether you can make a cut-scene with Unity and render and safe it as a video file. And later on when the player enters a certain area or presses E (action key) when taking something up we can code that a cut-scene that has been saved in the game file will play automatically??? And if it's possible, how? We have searched a while on the internet but couldn't find it yet. Please help us out!
