Cat Rigging a Character Mesh 3ds Max 2011
I am a begginer in the world of 3d Max and I am working on an animation where I have created a custom cat rig for my mesh. When I test it with an animation layer the mesh becomes deformed in several places during the animation. I am thinking this has to do with the weight on the bones but am not sure. As I said I am a begginer in Max and I would greatly appreciate any tips tricks or advise. Thank You

You certainly need to add a reset XForm between your mesh and the skin modifier
you can fund it in the Utilities Panel >More... and drag it to your right list
