Engine Belt
Hi guys someone know how can I achive something like Engine Belt?
Image below :
Point GEN , T , CS , AC are static but this black line are moving. How can I make something like this ? I any easy way to do that ?
Yup I dont need a psychic only movement. Is other way then animated texture ? $$anonymous$$eybe Rope system ? I create a script which one create a Rope 2D based on hinge Joint 2D na Circle Collider 2D it's work greate as rope but I dont now how to set it for this element.
I would animate parts using unity animator (or some 3d modelling program) ins$$anonymous$$d of calculating movement at runtime
I use this for tank tracks : http://u3d.as/content/bone-cracker-games/physics-based-tank-controller/7Nf

Moving(animated) texture would be the easiest way if no physics needed. But it is not very good looking from near.
