Can't move object in VR if it has children

Hello, first of all this problem is on VR using Oculus Quest and the XR Interaction Toolkit.

I have a gameobject which is a box, and I can grab and move the box perfectly. However, when I put clothes in the box (children), I can grab it but it doesn't move, as if the children are stopping it from moving. I've tried disabling the children's gravity and mass on the Rigidbody, but it still doesn't work. Has anybody had a similar problem and is able to help?
