UI Panel, transparency problem
I have this graphic that I want to use as my main UI panel. http://i.imgur.com/sKtvgPR.png
I create a UI Panel in a canvas, and then I add that image as a UI sprite into the image component on that panel. I crank the alpha all the way up to 255, but this is what I get: http://i.imgur.com/mTGG5B2.png
You can still see through the panel even with the alpha all the way up. Is there a way to fix this?

Using a png image like this will gives transparency issues. Its better to use another image format like a dds or tga with a specific alpha channel.channel. Don't delete the pixels to get the empty rectangular area.Instead define the empty rectangular area in the alpha channel.
Your UI image should like this.No need to delete the pixels to get the empty rectangular area.just keep it filled with the black.Create an alpha channel with where everywhere it should be white except the see through area should have black pixels.
Hope this helps.
