Changing the size of the mobile FPS control GUI?
Hey guys, i am working on a first person shooter for mobile, and I am using the prefab from the standard assets (mobile) package, and I am learning lots (new to unity and programming in general) but I cant figure out how to change the size and location of the joystick controls. I have tested it on my Samsung galaxy 3, and I don't like how small the joystick is.
I have been checking out tutorials on how to make a GUI, and i found a few suggesting that for optimizing for different phone resolutions, its better to not use pixel inset at all, and just use the transform values inn the GUI inspector to find optimal placement and scale. But when i try to apply this to the joysticks that come in the standard asset package, something written in those scripts make my joysticks disappear if i play with any of the values in the inspector.
How can I modify the scripts so I can make the joysticks a more reasonable size? I would like them to take up more of the screen so that the player can rotate and walk more easily without the finger being confined to the bottom corners. Ideally, I would like to just set the sizes myself in the inspector using the position and scale values in the GUI inspector. Thanks.
