is it necessary to encrypt the c # scripts before publishing a mobile game ?
Hi everyone !
I'm about to finish my futur first mobile game and I was wondering if it is necessary to encrypt the player's data or even c # scripts before publishing a mobile game on googlePlay and the AppStore ? Because there's IAP and a system of virtual coin and so if someone hack my scripts he can have as much virtual coin as he wants therefore he will not use IAP. However is it really something common to hack a mobile game ? I mean for exemple does cross road encrypt his data ?
So I hope I was clear and that someone will answer to my question.
Thank you !
The encryption of the user data are more for you to prevent cheating. Usually, it is stored on server but does not prevent cheating. As for user information, if you are storing personal information, you need to comply with GDPR.
