I cannot access my project.
Twice in the past three days, Unity has frozen. I am unable to do anything include close my tab. From this point, I restart my computer. Then when I go to reopen my file, I am unable to. Locking into the project on the hard drive, I have noticed a UnityLockfile, which continuously recreates itself if I delete it then launch Unity. I have tried to remove this from the project, and even copy and paste my files to a new project, but it always comes back. The only reason I was able to solve this issue the first time was the fact that I created a completely new project, and moved every prefab, material, script, etc. into my project individually. I was then forced to re-edit the components, and on prefabs made up of prefabs I was forced to recreate these entire prefabs. I do not want to go through this process again. My version is 2019.4.12f1. I have had Unity for roughly two weeks, and otherwise, my experience has been very enjoyable, though this issue is very annoying. I am using the free version.
