Efficient way of placing multi-tile sprites onto tilemap via script
I'm using tilemaps and procedural generation to create a world for my game. For testing purposes, I created a single-tile tree that I can place around the world. This looks a little silly though, and I think for my final game I would want to make the trees 2x2 or maybe even 2x3. Is there a way of storing this sprite as a single object so I can call one function to place it in the tilemap, or will I need to place each tile to make up the image each time I want to place a tree? This is going to be a large world, so being able to condense 4 or more function calls into one would add up pretty quickly.
