Bouncing back

Hello,

I am creating a marble game. If my marble collides with an object, I would like it to bounce back to the opposite direction, with the 1/4 of the original speed. How should I make it?

You should/could try creating a custom physics material.

Bouncyness of 0.25 (1/4) should be what you're looking for.

I have tried. I have set the frictions to one, the bounciness to 0.25, friction combine: maximum, bounce combine: maximum. It is working when I fall from low distance, but when I roll from like 20 meter, it is bouncing way smaller then it should.

What Bounce Combine method are you using? And what is the bouncyness of the $$anonymous$$arble?

Have you tried with friction 0? Friction 1 sounds like it may slow down the ball from some angles.

I am using maximum, with a bouncyness of 1. I have also tried with friction 0, still have the same resoult. Can you tell me what kind of options can affect bouncing? I am using a rigidbody.
