Lightmaps not auto-generated when reloading scene?
Hey everybody, hoping someone can point me in the right direction on what I imagine must be a simple fix...
I have a game that allows you to restart the round by pressing a button on the game over screen. It's a simple case of:
void Restart()
{
SceneManager.LoadScene(SceneManager.GetActiveScene().name);
}
However, the lighting changes when the scene is reloaded. It looks like this:
1st play vs 2nd play:
I know it's got something to do with failing to generate a lightmap on reload.
What am I missing here?
EDITS: Just to clarify a few things...
1) In the actual build this is not an issue.
2) Turning off auto-generation for light maps and manually baking them before testing DOES eliminate this problem. But, it seems like this shouldn't be an issue to begin with. Is it a bug? Am I overlooking some feature?
