Weird Lighting / Shadow Since 5.1.3 Update
I have circled the area that represents the issue. It's like I can kind of see through the model but I haven't configured any transparency. I am in forward rendering mode with Gamma color space and all of the lights in the scene are configured to be realtime with soft shadows during the scene in the screenshot.
This doesn't happen in the editor, but when running from exe it shows up. I compared it to a slightly older build made pre 5.1.3 and it did not have the issue.
Why is this happening?
Thanks for your help!
try to change the shader of this model. like legacy shader > transparent > cutout or cutout diffuse . or Please tweak with other shader it will help you. I also have the same problem I have changed my shaders and it helped me.
Hmm.. I'll take a look at that when I get home later today, but it is not displaying the issue in the editor nor was it occurring with the previous build and I am not using any transparent shaders on the model so I am a little skeptical.
@itsharshdeep if you convert your comment to an answer, I will mark it as correct.
I was using Legacy Bumped Specular, which AFAI$$anonymous$$ has nothing to do with transparency, and after converting it to use the new Standard shader the issue went away.
I'm not totally clear how it became an issue, but I don't have a reason to stay with the legacy shader so I am happy with this as a fix.
Thanks!
:) I have posted my comment as an answer , Now you can mark as correct :)
