I am new and need help

I have just started to take an interest in programming and Unity seems to be a very good program that can be perfect for what I want to do. I am trying to understand how to use it and learn the programming language but I don't seem to have the plugin required to watch the tutorial videos, and when I click the link called "unity basics" nothing seems to happen.

I would appreciate it if someone could give me a link to good and easy to understand instructions on how to use and get started with Unity, or the plugin I need to watch the Unity tutorials.
