Terrain tree preformance
I am building a big level and currently I have around 16800 trees and i also count grass models in there's about 128000. I would like to make the level even bigger, but I am getting a little concerned about preformance. Right now I have about 70 fps wich i all good but I am also on a pretty good computer. Drawing these models seems to be the biggest impact on preformance in my game. I am useing LOD groups on all the models but is there any other goods ways of increasing preformance in relation to tree and grass models on the terrain. And what would that be?
