Unity is Slow in Editing
Hi, I have this laptop
I5-7770UQ
RAM 4GB DDR4
256GB SSD ( UNITY INSTALLED )
1TB HDD ( FOR OTHER THINGS )
NVDIA 930MX
INTEL UHD 630 ( INTEGRATED )
Unity is running on my nvdia graphic card but When i do somethings and add script, edit it. It takes 10-20 seconds for it to compile in the editor and Clicking play take time
RAM USAGE : 69% USUALLY, WITH UNITY 70%
CPU USAGE : 25% USUALLY, WITH UNITY 35%
DISK USAGE : VERY GOOD NOTHING TO WORRY
If you edit the script then save it , it nearly always hangs a bit to compile I have a Ryzen 2700X as such it takes about 2 seconds. I believe its compiling the entire solution not just that script too. Compiling takes time at first, but its is much faster than Interpreters that translate code in real time.
Unity will most certainly use Both the CPU and GPU when working. This is Normal unless it starts taking like 20 $$anonymous$$utes or something.
