Unity2D Player Sprite not showing up in either Editor/Game Scene
My scene is setup with a Canvas - Background image and a Score Text object. I can see the player sprite in a location not overlapping with the background image, but when it is within the area of the background image (UI Image object), it does not show up-I cant't really tell if it is behind the background image either when I change it to 3D mode instead of 2D and try changing the Z values. The culling mask on my camera is set to Everything as well. The Background Image also ends up covering the Score Text object (both of these are in the UI layer).
Any suggestions?
It didn't change anything. Is it okay that the Background Image is a child of the Canvas? When I take it out of being a child, I can no longer see it, but I see the player sprite.
