Unity3d Arm collision

Hi!

I'm new in Unity3D! I have two character in my scena and i would like the arm of the first will be able to generate a collision when it touch the second character . I tried with character collision but it made only a sphere collision , i would like made something like a mesh collider that it work also if i move manualy the join of my character.
