HDRP ambient occlusion is not working with orthographic camera

Here is my scene and settings: PostProcess volume: alt text

With orthographic camera: alt text

With perspective camera: alt text

The only difference is projection mode. We can see AO effect in perspective, but not orthografic. Is that a bug or feature, and how it can be fixed?
