Pixel Art Modular Character
Hi Everybody,
I am working on pixel art Top Down game, and I wanted to add customization to the player by allowing him to change skin/hair/clothes color. I tought a lot about creating separate animations for skin/hair/clothes and importing it to Unity separately, so when player changes clothes, I change sprite/object that it is using, but it feels wrong to have it that way. I also read about rigging sprites, but that way I would lose on a crisp pixel art graphics that I have, so I am against it.
What would be best way to do this?
