Unity textures compression question - please clarify
I'm working on a project in which colors play significant role. I need them to be very precise. For that I've prepared *.png texture file with precise color palette. It's compressed 1024x1024 file taking around 500KB disc space.
As far as I know I have only two options in Unity. I can either use uncompressed import setting to keep exact colors increasing the file size to 3 MB or use Unity built in compression to keep small file size but reduce image quality.
I have a very simple question: Is there a way to import my texture file "as it is" without overriding compression settings nor file format at all ?
