Ignore GameObject when Instantiate is called
Hello experts!
I'm new in Unity. I've created a terrain in 3D where I place objects to the ground by clicking the left mouse key. Therefore I use an isometric Camera and the calculation works by using the Raycast functionality.
The problem here is, that the objects are also placed on my Character and I want to avoid that it is set to my Gaming Character itself, but it should be placed to the ground by ignoring the GameObject (Character).
Is there any functionality I can pass to the Instantiate Method so that the Objects are placed on the ground and the Character which is clicked, is ignored?
Kind regards, iNvASioN
