Night Vision shader is interacting weird between the level's mesh and the spotlight
I am working with Unity's shaders and stumbled upon what seemed to be a decent night vision shader from here. Everything came out looking well until I decided to spawn an NPC with a flashlight. Now I seem to have this weird anomaly where the surrounding walls are also extremely lit, even when behind the enemy not even close to the spotlight
I turned down the luminescence to check if I can still visibly see the spot light through the wall, but as expected, it's pitch black with the value being set to 0. Since it's been some time since I've worked with shaders and the first time I'm working with Unity Shaders I'm hoping that it's just something small that is missed on my end. So I am looking for some advice on where to look to help spot the issue.
EDIT: After looking at the comments on the link where the shader came from, it looks like someone else may have had the same issue as me. Hopefully someone can help me understand why this could be.
