Platform set to All for contents in Assets/Plugins/Android folder on Unity 5.4
I have created a unity package that contains both Android and iOS plugins. Everything works fine on Unity 4.7 and 5.3 versions but on Unity 5.4 I am seeing following that doesn't seem to go with the documentation.
When I select a folder that is inside Assets/Plugins/Android, that contains android specific resources, the platform is set to All by default for the contents in the selected folder. The problem occurs when I build iOS project as some of these folders are added to the Xcode project by default causing Xcode throwing errors for the Android resources.
I am aware that on Unity, for the above resources, if I change the platform to Android and rebuild, the Android specific resources are not included in the Xcode project. Can someone please let me know if this is a known problem or am I missing something here and the root cause of this behaviour of Unity 5.4.

This is a known issue: https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/subfolders-included-inside-plugins-slash-android-select-any-platform-on-the-inspector
Hopefully this will get fixed soon.
