Black / No splash screen on Personal Edition
I've been working on a project with Unity Pro edition, but some months ago I lost access to the Pro edition and rolled back to Basic/Personal. However, only now I did notice that the Splash Screen has become a 4-second-delayed black screen, instead of the white Unity splash screen. I've tried reimporting the entire project, aswell as deleting the entire ProjectSettings and Library folders, but nothing made a difference. What can I do? Why isn't the Personal splash screen showing up?
EDIT: I'm on 5.3.5p3
$$anonymous$$gestion only : try to reimport all packages in a new project, lower quality and graphics settings, try to create a development build. Also you will be able to see the splash screen settings so to see if what's actually going on, from the player settings.
Hmm, could be a bug. They recently introduced a new splash screen system. The personal edition should ensure an opaque splash screen to prevent you from "removing" the splash screen. Read this blog.
You might want to file a bug report (Help --> Report a bug) and include your faulty project as example. You can try to create a copy of your project to see if the problem persists. If it does you can strip the project down so it's smaller. Don't forget to explain your situation in the bug report (that you used pro-trial and now personal).
