How Can I Make Completely Custom Text Input Objects
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could push me into the right direction as to being able to create my own custom text or numerical input fields with out using any of unity ui and just in c# code.
It needs to be able to work on android with keyboard. As per usual.
Would anyone be able to give me an example or let me know which namespaces I need to access in order to program the ability to input text or numeric values, and be able to play around with the results and 'do stuff' with it all.
Please help, I would be very thankful.

I think aside from using what is available within unity, I'd have to make my games in VS Studio if I wanted all that kind of complete customization and the such I think. I think I don't know enough about this yet. I have the ui finally worked out, so I guess I will just use the ui unless I can find a better plugin on the unity store to add more features.
It think what I was asking in my question is a bit above my head yet. One day I will move onto making games in Vs, as its a bit more resource friendly than unity for making high performance games, Is also not as user friendly as unity either. Its like the next step up from c# unity developing, is making everything from scratch as well as physic's and all the rest in VS Studio.
If I had skill at doing VS Studio from the start, then programming in unity would be easy. Shouldn't it be???
