Overlap Circle and Layer mask
Hi guys,
I'm trying to setup a simple enemy-player detection in my scene and am using Physics2D.OverlapCircle to try to check for the "Player" from the enemy origin.
Currently when I use OverlapCircle without a layermask it picks up everything including the player, however if I try to add a layermask (and set it to be the layer the player is on) it doesn't pick up anything at all despite the objects being in the right layers. I've even tried changing which layermask,e.g. ground, but still nothing.
Is there any settings or something that I need to use to be able to use OverlapCircle with the layermask parameter that I'm missing?
