GameObjects with custom properties into a GUI textbox.
Hi guys, I need some method/coding guidance on the best way to achieve the following:
In my scene I have a selection of gameobjects with custom properties assigned to them using a simple JS on each gameobject - this JS defines values for x3 variables - "Name", "Description" and "Value" - for each gameobject. At runtime I need a toggle GUI that 'reads' the scene, finds the objects and lists them with their custom properties - like columns in an excel spreadsheet style.
Where should I start?
Best regards, James (strong at 3D modelling, weak at coding!)
