What is the best way to store User Input and use it later with the new input system?

I'm trying to add a feature to my game where the player can create their own combo moves. I'm trying to think of the best way to store their input to then make the combo based off what they Input. The method I'm trying right now is to store the moves they make in a queue and play them later but I need some information about how long they hold certain buttons to get the distances that they move. Right now the only way I can think to do this is with Time.time in each of the functions that takes in the Callback Context. The only other thing I could think of is something to do with the Started and Cancelled phase of the action, But I am unsure how to use them and have only done the .performed callback

So I'm wondering what the best way to get these time values would be or if the New Input System has a better way to store these inputs and chain them together later.
