RenderTexture Scope Effect
Hello,
I've been struggling with the making of a realistic Scope effect for a weapon.
My specific Question would be, How could one simulate the effect of a real scope? This has been done in Unity before, and the image beneath illustrates what I'm trying to achieve. The specific thing I'm trying to replicate is the black blur in the scope when looking through it at an angle.
Kind regards,
BioQuake
I hope that the following image links makes sense.
This is the link to the scope and how I set it up in the hierarchy.
This is the link to the scope view finder and how I set it up in the hierarchy.
And this is the link to the camera for the scope and how the and RenderTexture I set it up in the hierarchy. ($$anonymous$$ost important)
Here is a link to a animation of the game in play (with a zoom in and zoom out feature).
I hope this helps.
I appreciate your answer, but it unfortunately does not completely answer my question. The thing I'm trying to achieve is the black blur in the scope when looking through the scope at an angle.
