Realtime reflection
hey, im trying to use the UnityPro water reflection for realtime reflection on other 3D objects. The water is transparent, how can i make it opaque and still reflective? I want my cars to be better reflective. The specular shaders arent enough, and cubemaps wont do.
What's the best way to use the reflection on other materials? how exactly does this water reflection work? AFAiK unity doesnt do any ray tracing, thus realtime reflections arent possible. Then how is water reflective? And if water can be reflective, why isnt there a realtime reflective shader?
