Lighting: Should I split my big mesh-objects into small ones?
Hi,
I have a house with about 30 lights(emissive mesh), 30 rooms and a long corridor. All walls of all rooms are one mesh, with a repeating texture. Also the floor is one big mesh, that covers all rooms etc. Is this a good idea or should I have one mesh object per room ?
The problem is that the rooms are very dark and the lighting looks not good. When I increase the emission, nothing changes. I have it at 5 or 6.
(objects are set to static of course ;) )
