Text map problem with 3d text
This is an issue I've been wondering about for quite some time now. When I create a 3D text and drag a new font to it the mapping of the font doesn't seem to update. This results in the planes where the letter should be are completely blank (though the size actually changes correctly), or sometimes an incorrect part of the font texture is shown.
I've gotten the correct font to work at some times, by just rewriting the text I want to show, but other times I just can't get the font to work.
Is this working as intended and am I just not getting it? Or is there a workaround for this?

Oops I just forgot to update the font material to that of the font I was dragging in. That helped!
Hey $$anonymous$$rten. I've been having a huge issue with even adding a font material to a GameObject. Can you post some of your code of how you even make a font material? Sorry for waking up an old question. $$anonymous$$y question is here. I'd really appreciate a response.
