Space Shooter lighting problem?
Hi there,
I'm just starting my adventure with Unity and I'm a true beginner, so perhaps this question might seem silly, but it has caused me a lot of trouble.
I have started the Space Shooter tutorial and while I was able to figure out a lot of stuff that has changed between the tutorial Unity version and the new (personal) Unity version, the lightning part seems a bit more complicated. First of all, the tab has moved, but second of all, well, I think the default settings or dunno, something has changed.
So I have the solid background color, I have my player and everything is very light... I tried going into Window -> Rendering -> Lightning settings, but that looks different from the tutorial. Is it the wrong place? I changed the environmental lightning to color (black) thinking this might work, but my player is still very light. I started doing the tutorial and adding my own directional lights, but that changes nothing eh.
Any tips/explanations? I really want the light to look like it's coming from a star.
Thanks!
