How do i add/import sound effects and/or music into my game?
Simply as the question says: "How do i add/import sound effects and/or music into my game?"
Please help if you can.
I have removed your side question "Does anyone know any free download music making software, and where to get it from?" because we want one (1) question per thread. Please ask the question again or search for it as it probably already has been answered.
and the other question sounds like a "Google task". Search for "Free music making software".
I know this is from 4 years ago, but just in case some one comes across it, such as I did, here is a good place to get royalty free audio. All they ask if that you give them credit for their work. CLIC$$anonymous$$

Open unity resize the window so make sure you can see your desktop in the back. Open the folder which contains the music and drag it in to unitys "Project" area. You can only get MP3 2 work :)
sorry i don't know any good music makers :)
Formats other than just $$anonymous$$P3 work, such as WAV, OGG, etc.
adding $$anonymous$$P3 will automatically convert it into correct format. Just import assets.
yea i know that but will it convert wav files because $$anonymous$$es don't like to work

To add sound clips into your game, either right-click in the Project
tab and click Import New Asset...
, or manually drag the file into your project's Asset/
folder.
As for free music making software, I would recommend Audacity, a free open-source audio editor.

if you mean in terms of in-game fx, i always add an audio source to an empty game object, save it as a prefab and you got a sound emitter.
