Set Rect Transform Screen Position
Been struggling with this for a long time and finally decided to ask outright. How do I set a RectTransform position on the screen? Specifically how do I set one RectTransform to overlap another RectTransform. This is when the two transforms are not children of the same parent object.
anchored position only works sometimes, as the anchoring of the two objects might be different.
local position does not work, obviously, as the transforms are not local to the same parent.
transform.position does not work and I'm not quite sure why.
Frankly, why is this so complicated? It seems like a reasonable thing to want to do
